Traffic Exchanges Don’t Work Do They?
I have been trying out alot of new marketing strategies lately. As you probably know I use listbuilders and safelists on a regular basis to build my optin list along with adswaps and giveaways.
I have added a few other strategies to the fold now. It’s a little more work but no one said making a living on the internet was going to be easy right. So I am now starting to concentrate on, along with the strategies above, video, articles and traffic exchanges.
Video Marketing
I have started to put up videos on youtube but will be starting to use trafficgyser for my video marketing very soon. This will get my videos out to alot more sites in now time at all. I have also started to use a tool that I got for free but is going on sale very soon for around $500 called Tubefool. Tubefool sends out friend requests to people on youtube and it just works in the background while you get on with your other work. You can also share videos with it and get comments on your channel. Very cool and I highly recommend it. From using it alone I have had massive traffic to my youtube channel which is still very young.
Article Marketing
I am not a great content writer by any means so I decided to outsource this part of my marketing. I also needed to outsource because time is another factor in letting me get stuff done. I found a guy on the warrior forum who writes excellent articles for a very reasonable fee.
Traffic Exchanges
Alot of people will tell you that traffic exchanges don’t work but I think that has more to do with not knowing how to use them properly. I have put together a little video on how to use traffic exchange so go ahead and watch how I put between 10 and 20 subscriber on my list per day with traffic exchanges.

For sure try them out always use a squeeze page and your picture on it helps building your brand never use a generic squeeze page to many people on their use them your have to be unique is the key.
I’m trying to get a few videos a week out so should be loads more to come.

I used to surf traffic exchanges like this a year or so ago but found the conversion rates to low, But I never knew about Traffic Hoopla so I may well have been surfing the lesser known exchanges. thanks for the video and advise.

I used traffic exchanges when I first got online after being told that was the best way to get traffic to your site. But back then I wasn’t being taught the right way to market so it ended up being a total waste of my time.
re you receiving targeted visitors to your site? Wasn’t quite sure what type of people are actually on traffic exchanges these days.

For me personally NO they didn’t work and the only reason i can think for this is because the traffic isn’t targeted. However, what works for one doesn’t always work for another so you may get better results. Suppose we don’t know until we try. If it works do more of it and if it doesn’t, move on and spend your time on the things that do.

I did try them and mainly used List Joe. What a boring and worthless task I found them. I would spend hours in front of my computer clicking each link to get credits.
Only to send the mail out and get no sign up’s. Maybe it was the way I had my squeeze page set up or I was using the wrong TE.
Anyway I think I could use my time doing something else than just gaining credits.

There is a lot of ways of obtaining incoming traffic. Use Facebook, involve in forums discussions and other.
I’ve created a free web directory where I’ve been placed some banners with special offers. Most of submitters visit also my website.

Traffic exchange really work but only between similar type of sites. If we exchange the traffic between two dissimilar sites that are useless for both. So we can say that Traffic exchange is work only for similar website.

I remember using Traffic Exchange Sites way back in the day. But now, along with link exchanges, it just doesn’t quite work out the way we hope anymore. There are new, more targeted ways to find people that are far more effective. Like blog commenting, Twitter, guest posting, etc.

Hi Glyn, you are obviously doing it right as so few really persist at traffic exchanges-your copy amd emails must be really good. I suppose they are a good place to test and tweek. I tried them but found it hard waiting for things to open and then the countdown before i could move on drove me mad.I suppose what I should have done was open a few browser windows!
