I have been neglecting my blog this last while a bit since I have been focusing on building my list. I have been doing a number of things to get this going at rocket speed and I think that within 30 days I should have a list of at least 1000 people.

How am I doing this?

Well I am joining a lot of giveaways as a free member which is not having that great of an impact on the list. A few subscribers here and there.  As you probably know I do a lot of forum marketing and have found probably one of the best forums online for help and advice.  It’s called the Internet marketing Forum and is run by a few internet marketing Guru’s Kevin Potts, Chris Farrell and Paul Lynch to name but a few.

These guys are very active in the forum and they also run a company called The Cambridge Business Academy.  This company alone has one of the best product packages that I have seen online and I have been about for a while now.

There latest package was a $100,000 business built for you and handed to you on a plate with the nice price tag of $20,000. If I had the money this would have been an excellent investment but not to many of us have $20,000 laying around.

This is their high end product and they used some great marketing tactics to get people to purchase it. You just have to read the sales page and pick out the scarcity factor that they offer. Little did people know that everyone would be accepted but it was excellent copy.

But for me  this was not the product I decided to go for from these guys. I went for something a lot closer to my budget but would help me in my list building endeavours. So I took the free 24 hour look around the Elite Money Making Club. Sound like one of those scams but I assure you this is no scam.

This product is everyone with a small list who wants to build a big list fasts dream come true. I don’t promote products that I don’t use myself and this product gets my garrentee as it’s building my list in no time at all.

So what do you get with this product?

  • Squeeze Page
  • First Four follow up emails
  • The use of Paul Lynch’s 120,000 email list to get you to 500 subscribers.
  • The best training I have gotten on Adswaps
  • Full support from Paul’s team and the other members in the forum

This is without a doubt the holy grail for those of us that want to do ad swaps and have not got the list size to start them. I have already pulled in 20 subscribers in one day from one swap and with Paul’s list he lets you do swaps everyday except weekends. Another great benefit of using this system is that you are not making your own list unresponsive pounding them with ad swap after ad swap.

In the end it’s a win situation for you. If you want to have a look at this product and take the 24 hour road test just click here

I look forward to hearing what you think about this product so please leave your comments below

Marketing online | Linking On Your Blog

Alot of people talk about external linking to their blog which is
great for SEO and getting ranked in the search engines. The thing is alot of people forget about linking in their content which is so powerful because it gives google the opinion that your blog is an information blog.

There are a two different internal linking methods to optimize your blog and I will cover them here in this post.

  • Internal Linking
  • Outbound Linking

Internal Linking

Internal linking is a very powerful linking strategy in googles eyes. It’s pretty simple to implement as you only have to link to other pages or posts on your blog from the content that you are writing.

Alot of people have plugins like other relevent posts which is a form of this but to actually have an anchor text in your post near the top pointing to another post is excellent. Lets look at an example.

You have a post on your blog which is called Local Dog Shelters.
In the new post that you are writing the words Local Dog Shelters
comes up then you link this anchor text to your older post.
Very Powerful and google will love you for it.

Outbound Linking

There are two forms of outbound linking, linking out from your
content and the second is linking out from your blog. The
thing you have to be careful about here is that where you are linking to has to be relevent to your content.

Linking out from your content should be done in the bottom
half of your post. It is a good idea to make sure the anchor text
you pick is a keyword that you might want to rank for an some stage.

All ways remember that if you are doing a product review don’t
link to the products main page or any page that might take some
of those commissions away from you.

About 8 – 10 links is plenty.

Linking out from your blog is done from your wordpress dashboard
under the links section. The best way to pick links to link out from
your blog is by using the keywords that you have choosen for
your blog and link to whats on the first page of google for those
keywords.

So if one of your keywords for your blog is greyhound racing tips
go to google and enter greyhound racing tips and link out
to one of the url on the first page.

Use about 10 – 15 links.

Those of you that are in the widlink system has this done for
them in the form of the blogs of fellow students but if you
add more links to page one on google as well you will have
some extra power.

Affiliate Links

This is a definite NO NO when you are optimizing your blog post. It will drop your blog alot of places in the search engine rankings if you use them. There are a few plugins that are free that will cloak your affiliate links the most well know is Simple Link Cloaker which can be found by doing a search in your back office under plugins.

Hope you enjoyed these tips and if you have anything to add good,
bad or to just say hello please do so in the comment area below.

I have been doing a lot of jumping around this week and have come to the conclusion that I am getting nothing done. Why is this? I am trying to do everyones job myself designing graphics, writing sales copy, installing scripts, putting it all together. This is not working so what to do.

In the end of the day this is not my job although I am the only person in my business at the minute. I was on the last call with Alex on monday and he built a membership site in 30 days and didn’t do any of it himself. Sounds weird but this is the great power of outsourcing.

So what I have done is I have found a copywriter to write the sales copy and I have found a guy who is a student of Mike Filsamine who will put the whole butterfly open source script and site together for me. All at extremely cheap prices. But the proof will be in the end result.

What my attention has turned to now is getting some marketing done and traffic coming to my blog again as I haven’t done much of that recently.

I have started to contact JV’s aswell to get this product out of the blocks. Anyone interested leave me a comment and I will contact you.

The butterfly script is amazing Mike Definitely knew what he was doing there. I am able to set different commissions for different people with it. You can set affiliate commission and two JV’s commission levels.

You can also split pay people through paypal which means when you make a commission you get paid straight away no waiting 60 days or anything like that. You can also use clickbank as well.

So now I am going to hold myself account able so that I get this released on time. I have set a date of (NERVES) 26 July 2010.

So that’s the big plan and the product name will be given out in my next post. If anyone is interested in giving me a testimonial I for the OTO or interested in getting their product on the download page leave me a comment and I will contact you to work out a deal.

Ok That’s all for now.
