Listbuilding Archives

I have been going back to basic recently for my next adventure

in my marketing online. My list is coming along nicely at the minute

with adswaps and giveaways but I wanted to give it another

boost so I have went back to safelists and listbuilders for

more subscribers to my list.

Safelists are mailing lists that you optin to so that you can

send mail to other members and they click on your link to earn

credits and see your offer.

You will hear lot of people say that these are not great

traffic sources but I wish to differ when it comes to building

your list. I have had great success with them in the past and

don’t know why I stopped using them.

For a start most people that are using safelists are already in

the business of online marketing and are actively promoting so

the actual targeting is good. Another aspect to look at is alot

of these people need help with their next step and we can help

them once they are on my list.

Using safelists and listbuilders comes down to a few simple

strategies to be effective.

  • Be Organised
  • Your email subject line is critical
  • The time that you mail

With these components in place you can easily put 3 to 10

people a day on your list with the right offer.

Being Organised

To start with you need two gmail account. A contact and list account

You will be asked for each when you join the safelist. In the list

account you will need to set up filters for each safelist so

you can go straight to the emails when you need credits.

Your Contact email address is where the safelist sends solo ads

that other members have bought which are worth alot more credits

than the list emails.

When you want to mail you would go to the contact account first

and then top off your credits with the list email.

Email Subject Line

This is probably the most important part of your marketing when

it comes to safelist. You need a subject link that will catch

peoples eye. One that has worked well for me is

Congratulations FIRSTNAME, Free Gift Inside

Putting in shapes works pretty well to like

<<@@@@FREE C@SH>>

It draws the attention of the eye that is looking at all the emails

FREE is always good to have in your subject line.

Mailing Time

From testing I have gotten the best results from sending at 12 noon

eastern time which is around 6pm over here. I don’t know why but

this has given me the best results.

There are all sorts of upgrades in each site and each site is different

in how often you can send to your list. Usually upgraded members

can send more often to the list. Therefore your ad is seen more

often and people get interested.

A great resource which is free to see which safelists are the most

responsive is Traffichoopla. It tests all of them and then sends

a report on which are performing best.

If anyone has had experience with safelists good or bad or just

to say hi please leave your comments below.

I have been neglecting my blog this last while a bit since I have been focusing on building my list. I have been doing a number of things to get this going at rocket speed and I think that within 30 days I should have a list of at least 1000 people.

How am I doing this?

Well I am joining a lot of giveaways as a free member which is not having that great of an impact on the list. A few subscribers here and there.  As you probably know I do a lot of forum marketing and have found probably one of the best forums online for help and advice.  It’s called the Internet marketing Forum and is run by a few internet marketing Guru’s Kevin Potts, Chris Farrell and Paul Lynch to name but a few.

These guys are very active in the forum and they also run a company called The Cambridge Business Academy.  This company alone has one of the best product packages that I have seen online and I have been about for a while now.

There latest package was a $100,000 business built for you and handed to you on a plate with the nice price tag of $20,000. If I had the money this would have been an excellent investment but not to many of us have $20,000 laying around.

This is their high end product and they used some great marketing tactics to get people to purchase it. You just have to read the sales page and pick out the scarcity factor that they offer. Little did people know that everyone would be accepted but it was excellent copy.

But for me  this was not the product I decided to go for from these guys. I went for something a lot closer to my budget but would help me in my list building endeavours. So I took the free 24 hour look around the Elite Money Making Club. Sound like one of those scams but I assure you this is no scam.

This product is everyone with a small list who wants to build a big list fasts dream come true. I don’t promote products that I don’t use myself and this product gets my garrentee as it’s building my list in no time at all.

So what do you get with this product?

  • Squeeze Page
  • First Four follow up emails
  • The use of Paul Lynch’s 120,000 email list to get you to 500 subscribers.
  • The best training I have gotten on Adswaps
  • Full support from Paul’s team and the other members in the forum

This is without a doubt the holy grail for those of us that want to do ad swaps and have not got the list size to start them. I have already pulled in 20 subscribers in one day from one swap and with Paul’s list he lets you do swaps everyday except weekends. Another great benefit of using this system is that you are not making your own list unresponsive pounding them with ad swap after ad swap.

In the end it’s a win situation for you. If you want to have a look at this product and take the 24 hour road test just click here

I look forward to hearing what you think about this product so please leave your comments below
