Marketing Online | Relationship Marketing The Future

Lanzarote what a lovely place sun, sand and sea. 16 days of relaxation well as much as you can with a two year old but it is so nice to get away from the computer for a while. The island is volcanic and we rented a car and drove up to it. It definitely made the holiday to see an active volcano and to have a steak cooked over the molten rock.

The holiday is over now and it’s back to the grind. I made a few sales when I was away from some emails that I had set up on my autoresponder. Not a million dollars or anything but the proof that what I am doing is working and at the end of the day it only comes down to a pretty simple strategy.

TRAFFIC  >  BUILD A LIST   >   EMAIL MARKETING   >   MONEY IN THE LIST

It’s a pretty simple business structure but it works and now it’s time to make it bigger and better. So what do I mean by make it bigger and better?

Well for one  I want to double my traffic. At the minute I am getting anywhere from 10 to 30 subscribers per day on my list so if I double my traffic I should be able to double my subscribers per day right!

My next move after doubling my traffic is to learn relationship marketing. Alex Jeffreys only touched on this in his training so a very indepth training on the subject is something that will help my business. It is also something that I find very interesting so that’s what will make it fun to learn.

Relationship Marketing What Is it?

Relationship Marketing involves using methods and tactics to develop long term relationship with customers in order to retain them. An organisation must exceed customer satisfaction in order to retain them and develop a healthy relationship with their customers.

Traditional transactional marketing involved the organisation focusing all of its marketing efforts on attracting the customer for one off sales. However, customers who are loyal end up spending more in the long-term, so it makes sense, keep existing customers happy!

That’s it straight out of the text book but what it is at the end of the day is to be able to communicate with you list or customers and find out what their needs and wants are. Then when you have done your  research help them out what ever way you can and do it on a regular basis and not just hunting for the sale.

There are a few people that are great at this and one of them is a lady called Stephanie Mullac. I had the great pleasure of seeing her talk about this subject and the actual pleasure she gets from helping her list is extra ordinary. And who wouldn’t enjoy helping people to achieve what they want to in their lives I know it gives me great satisfaction.

That’s it for now I hope you find this information helpful and leave your comments about this strategy of marketing or just to say Hi

Forums seem to be pretty much my main source
of traffic at the minute. They are as you say
instant traffic but as the posts in the
forums are not deleted then it is evergreen also.

Now what I can see is that it is pretty much
like blog hopping but in blog hopping you need
to stay, will we say nice to the writer of the
blog, otherwise you don’t get your comment approved
and that link juice that we all crave.

No there are differences but the evergreen factor
is there in both.

When you use forums for marketing you need to keep
active in them and also you need to be giving alot
of value in your posts for people to listen to you.
Things like “I agree with that” or “Great Post”
doesn’t give you much respect when it comes to these
places.

So you can post to forums all day but if you don’t
give value, well you are wasting your time really.
Most people know that you can’t promote in forum,
and when I say most people I have seen blatent
advertising in them which does nothing except get
you ignored or worse still get you banned.

Your signature at the bottom of your post is the only
way to get people to your website and there are different
rules for what you can do in them in different forums. I
learned a great way to boost your traffic from these
sig files the other night when I was listening to a
call Alex Jeffreys done with Andrew Fox who is from
northern Ireland which took me by suprise.

This is what these two big earner where saying.
Use a signature that will draw attention pick a
product that is in everyones inbox at the moment and say
something like

Why Im not buying (product name)click here
or
Hey (product name) does it really work
what’s the best bonus to buy

I have been testing these out an wham the traffic
has almost doubled.

The Warrior Forum is probably the most well know of
them all and is very active on a 24 hours bases but
you can find hundreds if not thousands of forums in every
niche you want just by doing a search on google.

So get into these forums they are great for building
relationships and traffic that is what we need in this
business.

To finish off here I want to tell you that I have something
big coming well it’s big in my eyes and will be giving
you more information on it early next week so call
back and I let you know more then.

Leave a comment and have a guess what I will be doing

So whats been on the agenda this week? Well I’m still doing
the word processing course which is taking up alot of
time that I could be spending on my business. But there
is no need for me to make excuses as I am the one
responsible for my own business.

Free Internet Marketing Help

I have, at last, got my squidoo lens up an running. I
took today off so that I could get that finished (soosh).
I have also come up with a plan to help me make the
most out of the few hours that I have each day to get
Productive and just GET THINGS DONE.

I have come up with this plan, some of you are
probably already using this but the penny has dropped on
this with me.

I am going to write one piece of content per day and that’s
it, but what I am going to do is to change this content into
four different advertising stategies.

This is what I come up with:

1 Blog Post
2 Article
3 Video – and yes Nick they are coming.
4 Podcast

So the whole idea is to write my one piece of content each
day starting with a blog post. I then want to turn this
into an article. Blog post and articles are different but
when you have the basic idea covered and what you want to say
it shouldn’t be to hard to turn it into and article.

I have done it with my last blog post already and got my
article on the number one spot on google for the keywords,
awesome.

So the next step now is to get this video marketing thing
going. I have had technical difficulties with my camera it won’t
pick up the audio don’t know what the story is but I made one
on my phone but guess what?

I can’t get it to upload to my PC so drama drama but I will have
some time now over the weekend to get all this sorted out.

So once I make a video with the content that I have written and
use traffic geyser to upload it all over cyber space I can then
convert the audio into a podcast.

From my past experience using traffic geyser i think they actually
do this in the software so this will be kind of an
automated step YEAH automation I love it.

What about blog hopping and forums I hear you ask?

I am hopping 15 blogs a night that takes about and hour and a
half to two hours. The good think about this other course that I’m doing is
we have internet access but alot of the sights are blocked.
The warrior forum and must forums aren’t so I get to comment
in forum during my breaks.

So that’s the big plan now all laid out hope this help anyone that
needs it.

Can you see what my article on this post is going to be about?
